Hamlet 16 ports Fast Ethernet Switch is a powerful, high-performance 10/100Mbps switch ideal for small and medium-sized enterprises that need to build up a high quality local network. The switch is capable of auto-negotiation operation (NWay) on all ports, which means that each port independently and automatically negotiates the network speed and duplex mode with the connected devices to improve performance and reduce redundant network traffic. This switch also supports Auto MDI/MDI-X function to detect the type of connected cable, removing the need for crossover cables. The switch is plug and play without any software to configure and also fully compliant with all kinds of network protocols. Moreover, it supports IEEE 802.3az Energy Efficient Ethernet (EEE) power saving technology to reduce energy consumption. The external metal case is designed to provide a better heat dissipation.
